With over 20 years of hands-on experience in construction project management, Ben Wanta is dedicated to helping clients transform their vision into reality. Growing up in a small Wisconsin town, Ben’s career began early when he joined his father’s residential construction business at just 14. In the 2000s, the family relocated to Madison, where Ben and his brothers built high-end homes in the suburbs, establishing a reputation for quality and craftsmanship.

Ben’s commitment to service led him to the Wisconsin Army National Guard in 2002. Over nine years, he served in Egypt, Kosovo, and Iraq, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant and gaining invaluable leadership experience. After completing his military service in 2011, Ben pivoted his career, enrolling in the Construction Management program at UW Platteville. He refined his management and commercial construction skills, and before graduation, accepted a full-time position with one of Wisconsin’s top commercial construction firms. Ben’s career progressed rapidly, holding roles such as Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Project Executive, where he led teams, optimized systems, and delivered successful projects for clients.

In 2024, Ben founded Better Build Consulting LLC to provide consulting and general contracting services that empower owners to execute their construction goals. Ben’s approach blends military discipline, strategic planning, and a collaborative mindset.

As an advocate and ally, he navigates project complexities, streamlines processes, and champions client success. His expertise encompasses project management, operational efficiency, and team leadership, ensuring each project benefits from his broad perspective and specialized skills.
